I am a motion designer and product evangelist for Red Giant.
Through tutorials, live broadcasts, and social media, I help customers understand and effectively use Red Giant, Trapcode and Magic Bullet products. I engage with the community, answering questions, solving problems and receiving feedback on our products. As a designer, I design and animate commercials that promote our software and showcase their potential.
I started in this business by studying music (classical percussion) and audio engineering at the Fredonia School of Music in Fredonia, NY. After working in live sound engineering, audio post-production and recording studio engineering, I slowly started to drift over to video editing and motion graphics in 1996. Since then, I’ve worked in the great cities of Detroit, Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles as a freelance motion designer with clients such as, Blur Studio, Digital Kitchen, NBC, and more. I’ve authored numerous tutorials and training titles on motion design, After Effects Expressions, Trapcode Particular and Form, and Cinema 4D.
I am the owner of motion design portal graymachine.com. I currently live in Los Angeles with with my wife and two sons.

Stefan Nadelman from Bent Image Lab
Stefan worked as lead animator for Connected: An Autoblogography About Love, Death & Technology. As lead animator, Stefan was solely responsible the look and feel of all the original animations produced for the film. If a section or line of narration could not be filled with verité or stock footage, then Stefan would be needed to step in with animation. The prolonged production period for the film allowed Nadelman to handle all the animation work, as opposed to hiring help. Stefan worked remotely from home in Portland while the larger production was based in San Francisco.
About Stefan
Son of a wedding videographer and photographer, Stefan received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Iowa State University in 1994 and began working in New York City as a print graphic designer. He transitioned to web design and then web animation not only for interactive design but for film.
In 2000, Stefan's first film, "Latin Alive" was included on the Best of Resfest DVD volume 1.
By 2003, Stefan left the world of web-based animation for that of film and television. Shortly after, his next film, "Terminal Bar", won the Jury Prize for short film at the Sundance Film Festival.
Among a variety of personal, collaborative, and commercial work, he has directed and animated shorts with Robert Smigel for Saturday Night Live's TV Funhouse, a music video for Menomena's Evil Bee, and the viral mini-epic short film about war called Food Fight.
Stefan continues to direct and animate for food, film, and fun.
