Job Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a talented Flash Developer/Prototyper to join their team in Redmond for a three month contract role. Here is what they are looking for:

Filter is looking for a highly talented, self-motivated, and passionate Flash Developer. The best candidate should be creative and willing to look at a number of different approaches and choose the one that would provide the team with a usable prototype as fast as possible. Responsibilities will include creating wireframes, quickly translating pixel art into correctly-formatted assets (cutting, sizing & bits of designing), managing and internally hosting multiple prototypes, and working without a highly-detailed spec.
Candidates should have experience with interaction design and have an ability to see UI details. A passion for high quality visual design is a plus. The ideal fit will be self-driven, focused, inclusive, inquisitive, good listener, superb team player, and otherwise an awesome person. You will be joining a strong team, so a perfect match is essential.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Flash Developer to help develop for our current and future games. The ideal candidate has a background in online or social game development, client/ server architecture, formal CS training, and is looking for an exciting opportunity in an emerging social games company.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of highly-interactive games in Flash ActionScript 3 that are high-quality, high-performance, scalable and easy to evolve
- Lead the internal Flash development team, and mentor junior developers
- Actively participate in the game design process with the Chief Software Architect and Game Team to create a rich, interactive and engaging experience for our players
- Help define, establish, and enforce best practices for the team
- Partner with Game Team to design these elements into future games
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years building flash applications, ideally online or social games, in ActionScript 3.0
- Advanced knowledge of Flex/ FlashBuilder (3 or 4) and object-oriented coding is required
- Proficiency in Creative Suite 5 (CS5) Professional is required, with the ability to modify/ create supporting graphical assets being a big plus
- Experience in object-oriented coding, dynamic content loading, web services/ XML, HTML, and JavaScript
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, PHP, and/ or MySQL is highly desirable
- Experience working with social network APIs, such as Facebook, is a plus
- Ability to think creatively, act entrepreneurially, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for games, especially Facebook-style games, is essential
- BS degree required, MS preferred
