2012 - The Year of Games & RIA // What about on Mobile?
It's a great time to be a developer!
After a vibrant open mic between HTML5 & Flex/Flash as a meduim to get our artwork & application across. The final points to take note of are that use the best technology for the purpose you need.
Mobile Development has change a lot the skill set a developer requires to be relevent in this day & age.
Mobile First is the Moto among industry leaders & the topic of our next meeting on Friday February 17th, 2012. Due to the lack of beers last time, we have been in touch with Almaza and have promised us to provide more beer this time around (we emphasized the need of 'quality beer' for quality time, not to mention with the help of Ogilvy).
I'd like to introduce StackOverFlow.com , as they describe themselves as "A language-independent collaboratively edited question and answer site for programmers."
Basically it's a great place to find answers to questions people before you asked, and best of all, are refinely answered properly after getting several feedback from other knowledgeable users in the field (also known as Crowd Sourcing).
Bet again, your best bet is Google. Having the urge and eager to learn how to do cool stuff is what will make you great at what you do, and fun doing it!
