Adobe CS6 Launch Camp - Long Beach, CA

One Morning Session - the CS6 workflow:

Author-Educator Jack Davis will show the new tools and features in the Adobe Creative Suite 6, as he takes a project from concept to reality. He will "touch" on Photoshop Touch and show the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud. Jack will then focus on high-end photo retouching with Photoshop, continue with additions using Illustrator and In Design, and prepare a project for epublishing. You will not only see the new tools in CS6, you will learn from one of the best artist-instructors of our time how to use them.

Two Afternoon Options:

I. Main Meeting Room: More in depth with Adobe CS6 - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ePublishing

Jack Davis will continue with more in depth projects, focusing on the new features of Adobe CS6 for photographers, graphic designers, and artists of all kinds. He will work with the new tools for projects from photo editing, to digital painting, to illustration, to design layout, and all the way through to e-publishing. He will share his custom Photoshop brushes, tool sets, patterns, and more as he demonstrates the new painting tools in Photoshop CS6. In fact, everyone attending will walk away with a copy of Jack's special tools!!!

II. Break-out Room: Developing Mobile Solutions with Adobe CS6

Chris Griffith will show the new tools in CS6 for getting content onto any device. He will show how to take your ideas to the mobile web and beyond with Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and PhoneGap. He will also show the tools in Flash Pro CS6 for authoring incredible experiences in Flash, and publishing for iOS and Android platforms. He will explore the new HTML5 publishing features (Create.js) and improvements in 3D and gaming. Chris will even give you a sneak peek at a new technology from Adobe, code-named "Shadow", for improving the mobile development workflow.

One ticket for a whole day of learning and the raffle!

Bring a notebook with plenty of empty pages and be prepared to make copious notes!

Schedule:

There will be one break in the morning and a short break for a no-host lunch. The hotel is offering the CS6 Launch attendees a complete buffet, including tip and tax for $14.00, or bring your own lunch.
