HFWAA is a free workshop that teaches traveling on a day to develop cross platform solutions for Android and iOS with Adobe AIR.

You must be wondering why Adobe AIR and other technologies; well as opposed to what they say is not a technology "dead", indeed!
You make some very interesting applications and Adobe AIR team is doing his best to deliver continuous improvements that enable you to create cross-platform solutions using a technology known by many designers and developers, and has over 10 years of experience in the multimedia world.

The event is in the formula "BYOL" (Bring Your Own Laptop) and every person who will take part in the course must have installed on your computer Flash Builder 4.5 or higher, AIR SDK 3.4 and bring along a smartphone or tablet (recommended quest ' last) Android or iOS.

The event is totally free and will last a day in six Italian cities: Milan, Turin, Padua, Bolzano, Bari and Florence.
Places are limited to 15 people and it is important to stop recording.
After registration you will be told if you are in the waiting list or directly admitted to the event

The BlackBerry platform 10 is currently the most open mobile platform on the market, both in terms of programming languages ​​development tools are supported. Developers can easily bring your own code on BlackBerry10 with minimal effort by reusing the most of their skills and fully exploiting the potential of the new platform. CTO and Co-founder of Inside a Bit srl has been operating since 2004 in the field working with companies in national and international projects cross from Mobile to embedded devices, from traditional software development on a touch screen monitor. Speaker at national and international level, has participated in events such as 360Flex, 360Max, Scotch on the Rocks, PyCon 3 and many more.

Tentative Event Structure:

Day1:

First day of the event will follow a conference model with parallel tracks, which will allow the participants to pick and choose their favorite sessions. Day 1 will enable the design community to get together, network and have fun. We will put in extra effort to bring best of the speakers and best of the content which fits local audience. Below are the highlights of the event.

  • The conference will start by 10am & end by 5Pm followed by a after party.
  • There will be 2 parallel tracks Technology and Art.
  • Each session will be for 50 mins & there will be 4 sessions per track.
  • A separate session for monetizing designs.
  • A dedicated session to allow members from the community to showcase their design work.
  • We will have lot of interactive design activities in between sessions. The idea is to keep the participants engaged.
  • We will run design contests during the next 2 months to keep the community active and engaged.

Day2:

Second day of the event is dedicated only for workshops which will have 3 parallel workshops limited to around 20 participants. This will be a one-day workshop which will allow the participant to spend considerable amount of time with the speaker and learn new stuffs. The topic for each of the workshop is yet to be decided as we are looking out for a good speaker.
