RTMPS not working in Chrome, only Firefox and IE? 3

Title: RTMPS not working in Chrome, only Firefox and IE?
Content:

Hi all,

I've been trying to get RTMPS to work with their StreamingVOD demo and it works using native TLS with Firefox and IE but defaults to RTMPTS when I open the file in Chrome.

Anyone have any ideas on what might cause Chrome to behave differently?

Thanks for any suggestions!

record in H.264 1

Title: record in H.264
Content:

Hi,

Just setup FMS4 on a trial basis, and try to find a way to record a stream directly in h.264 format.

So far i can record in FLV with ns.publish("myvideo", "record");

I just would like to do the same thing but encoded in h.264 format.

I read that flash player can't encode in h.264 so i guess it has to be done on the server side.

Does anyone has a sample, or explanations ?

thanks

File Plugin

Title: File Plugin
Content:

I would like to know if the file plugin is working with HTTP access ?

Because, it seems that file plugin allowed file access only for RTMP request on FMS3.5 (Apache is managing file access for http part).

Is it possible now with FMS4 to hav a file access from HTTP request ?

Using an Apache in front of FMS
Thread posted on Sep 21 by ziodave

Title: Using an Apache in front of FMS
Content:

Some customers, with strict network ACLs, would like to use Apache HTTPD servers to proxy rtmpt requests from the Internet to their internal Flash Media Servers.

Apart from performance issues, is using an Apache HTTPD server in front of FMS actually feasible?

How to stream video between two clients using FMS 4.0? 1

Title: How to stream video between two clients using FMS 4.0?
Content:

Hi, I am trying to set up P2P live stream services using the configurator tool and multicast player

which are included in FMS 4.0.

I use Adobe Flash Live Encoder to publish live stream and can make more than two clients to play

this live stream. But all clients stream the video from the FMS server. How can I stream video between

client? Do I need write server-script or client-script to realize this function?

Thanks!

Server requirements for HTTP Streaming 1

Title: Server requirements for HTTP Streaming
Content:

Hi all,

We had an OSMF User Group meeting last night, and the subject of HTTP Streaming came up quite a lot. There was some confusion over what would be needed on the server - What is the minimum server software that would be required for a developer to be able to deliver streamed media over HTTP?

Any knowledge you can share would be very helpful.
