1st Meeting of the AUG @ Vanderbilt - 3 days before launch of CS5
Good Day Members,
Thanks again for joining the Adobe User Group at Vanderbilt. Our first Bring Your Own Lunch (BYOL) meeting is scheduled for April 9th at 12:00 noon in A-5305 MCN. I will provide a dessert/ refreshment for this 1st meeting.
If any if you have not received the agenda for the first meeting, please send me an email and I will add you to my email distribution list for our group and send you the materials promptly. To my accounting, there are 9 members with such clever usernames, that I wasn’t able to figure out who you were or what your email might be.
For the CS technique demo for this first meeting, I will be presenting an overview of creating animated gifs in Photoshop. Sure they can be annoying, but they could also be aesthetically useful for websites, emails and e-newsletter. Once again, please post topics that you would like to see covered, as well as topics, techniques, trends or tools for which you wouldn’t mind sharing your experience with the group.
Please note that this first meeting is just 3 days before the official launch of Adobe Creative Suite 5 on Monday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. CST. You can register for a preview video on launch day and join the conversation here: http://cs5launch.adobe.com/?sdid=FDSEN
Finally, we need to have at least one co-manager so if anyone is interested, please let me know via email.
