Hi, new to Flex but seasoned developer......

Just saying hello. I just started working with Flex for about a month while I work on some RIA games for Facebook. So far I have got the following experiences on Flex:

1) Flex Remoting using Zend AMF

2) Basic Light MVC framework based on EasyMVC

3) Setting a development environment on Ubuntu (Not using Flex Builder) but AXDT

4) Developing ant build scripts

My prior experience:

1) Over 10 years experience in developing C/C++

2) Some experience in developing web apps using PHP

3) Systems/Kernel programming experience on Unix/Linux

4) Project Management on both Financial and Games

Most my recent experience is on Game Development though (i.e. 3D Programming, AI)

Hi all, it has been long since our last meeting.  How about we having one in December, or if not possible, in January 2009?

Can we have a sponsor for the venue?  A simple room with projector will do the job.  We have some giveaways sponsored by Adobe (T-Shirts, Pen, Stickers, Flex Getting Started Guide etc.)

Peter's Absence

It was an embarrassment for me for the failed arrangement in the last Saturday FUG.
I am finally able to contact Peter and learned that he involved in an serious car accident, which is the reason of his absence last Saturday.
I wish him to recover soon, and back join us when he is ready.
