September group meeting Wed Sept 19

Our next meeting will be next Wednesday, September 19, from 6-7:00 pm CST at Whole Foods in Regency. We will meet outside in the common seating area next to the Lifestyles Classroom. Subject will be tips and tricks on using Photoshop to retouch photos.. plus the 'do's and don'ts' with clients/subjects.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 24 in the Whole Foods Lifestyles classroom located in Regency. I need to know from the members who reside in the Omaha Metro area, how many of you are actually going to physically show up to the October meeting. I need this information by friday, October 5 by 4:00 pm.

February Meeting Date and Time

Hello everyone, at our January meeting, we had a great discussion on HDR techniques with examples, discussed how to adjust photos in Photoshop to turn a regular photo into something interesting, as well as were shown some great photography. Thank you, Ed for sharing your photos.

I have attached the handout from the meeting with links to the Youtube video on HDR, other helpful links, as well as a cheat sheet on using the Transform tool in Illustrator.

We did not get to the Indesign discussion, but will start with that at the February meeting. It is on Wednesday, February 22 from 6-7:00 pm at Wholefoods located at 10020 Regency Circle in their Lifestyles Classroom.

One of the next topics will be masking in Photoshop and if anyone has a request, please let me know.

February 22 Meeting Notes

Hello everyone. We had a good February meeting discussing Indesign menu structure, PhotoShop masking and Illustrator Clip Masks. I have attached the agenda notes for this meeting below and also put instructions to the Masking example from Corey Barker's new book referenced in the agenda. There are also attachments in the reference library on an example from Corey Barker's PhotoShop class I attended at the Adobe Live conference last October for those who missed our first meeting last December.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 13 from 6-7:00 CST, in the Whole Foods located in Regency in their Lifestyle classroom.
