September group meeting Wed Sept 19

Our next meeting will be next Wednesday, September 19, from 6-7:00 pm CST at Whole Foods in Regency. We will meet outside in the common seating area next to the Lifestyles Classroom. Subject will be tips and tricks on using Photoshop to retouch photos.. plus the 'do's and don'ts' with clients/subjects.

June meeting

Hi everyone, our next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 26 from 6-7 in the Whole Foods Lifestyles classroom located in Regency. We will be discussing the new CS6 Photoshop features.

Hope to see everyone there. Remember, if you'd like to qualify for the next raffle to win a set of the CS6 software, for those in Omaha, you need to be present at 4 out of 6 of the meetings between now and December.

April Meeting - 2012

Thank you to everyone who attended our April meeting. We reviewed videos on the new features for InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop that will be coming out in May. We also reviewed the Tracing feature in Illustrator. Attached is our agenda for the meeting containing the videos we watched.

Our next meeting will be on May 8 from 6-7 pm in the Whole Foods Regency Lifestyles classroom. We will be covering the basic How to's for Photoshop.

Hello everyone, our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 11 from 6-7:00 pm CST in the Lifestyles classroom located in Whole Foods in Regency.

We will be watching videos on the new CS6 features for Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator as well as discussing the Tracing feature in Illustrator.

Also, I'm learning more details about what it means to be an official group in the Omaha metropolitan area. One cool thing is I am supposed to be able to raffle off one set of software every 6 months. I'm finding out more details about this, however, you MUST be present to meetings in order to be considered to be in the raffle for those of you who live in the Omaha area.

I will pass on more information as I get it. Hope to see all of you at the meeting next week.

Inside this posting, I've attached what we covered in our meeting March 13. We discussed using Photoshop's Clone Stamp, Patch Tool, and Healing Brush tool. We also discussed how to embed a video into an InDesign page and export it as an Interactive PDF.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 11 from 6-7 pm CST at Whole Foods in Regency in their Lifestyles classroom. As always, if you have any questions, let me know. 

March 13 Meeting Agenda

Hello everyone. The next meeting is this coming Tuesday, March 13 from 6-7:00 pm CST and will be held at the Whole Foods in Regency, Omaha.

We will be covering how to's on the following:

- Touching up a photo in PhotoShop using the Clone Stamp, Spot Healing, and Patch tool

- Embedding a video creating an interactive PDF and learning about page turning animation

We will learn something new in Illustrator in our next meeting.
