Adobe user group umbrella (AUGE, RIAs Edge, Fine Arts) are happy to annouce their 3 training cycles. The aim of our training cycles is to mixmize the benefits for the group community and improve your skills in fields of interest. Our learning forces are:

Learn about Adobe products from Rafiq Elmansy (Adobe Community Expert, certified and author) and the world community Experts and share knowledge with them.

Flash Zero 2 Hero

It is all about Flash, Flex, AIR and other Adobe products. Ahmed Rabaih will be there for you, help you support you and answer any of your questions. Fine here article and free tutorials for all Adobe tools lovers.

Visual Arts

Watch out the real artists coming to the group world, they will inspire you, teach you the love and the passion to digital art. Ahmed Wahieb will be there for you.

Ahmed Wahieb, Fine Arts Adobe user group manager, amazed us yesterday with the great event he did in the Fine Arts faculty. The Adobe Day was held as one of the user group activity and aims to introduce to the students Adobe products and how they can use it in their academic life and career.

Adidas Creative Advertising 2

No one has not get amazed of Adidas advertising compaigns, I myself learn from it alot and try to follow each single compaign and what will it come up with. Adidas follows the advertising idea of the indirect advertising, which assume that eveyr viewer is clever enough to discover the idea and then try to grasp the viewer attention by letting them think in the idea behind the advertising.

For the experience, not only the designer or creative people get attracted by these type of ads, but also the general viewer who is fed up of the direct sales methods and the door knocking at every morning selling useless stuff. In this post some of the way cool Adidas inspirational ads from Ads of the World that I hope you like them as I did.

he first impression I had when I saw the new motion tweening in Flash CS4 was a face-value assessment: there was a new animation concept inside Flash. I quickly realized, however, there was more to it than that. In this article, I hope to convey something like National Geographic’s slogan, “Think Again,” in regards to motion tweening.

Dynamic Resizing Images (AS2) 2

It is my first post and hope you like it.

The problem that face us when using dynamic content (XML) to display products such as image gallery is we don't know the dimensions of images that we use specially when write path of image only on (XML). So the following  code explain how make correct scale for images.

First create the movieClip used for loading images and edit its dimensions using the variables target_width for width and target_height for height

When loading XML data we load image path to the variable image_path. Then, we can know any information about dimensions by using MovieClipLoader varible mymovieClipLoader and object listenerObj use for onLoadInit event and make scale.

How to Create HTML5 Banner Animation in Adobe Edge 2

Many people are having high expectations of the new HTML5 and its significant changes from the previous versions. Moreover, someeven say that the new trend in HTML can compete with the great rich media tools, such as Flash.

While Flash capabilities are more powerful and more extendable than the current version of HTML5, I do not see how it could compete with Flash. I believe both will have their own niche in the market, which I will try to cover in a further article in the following posts.
