Illustrator tips and tricks, and "Photoshop Is A Verb"

Title

Illustrator tips and tricks, and "Photoshop Is A Verb"

Date and Time

Address

Call-in Details

Speakers

Bill Vallely

Agenda

One of the few ways that computers graphics have reached the American consciousness is through it's ability to lie.

Hard as it is to believe these days, there was a day when the phrase "seeing is believing" could be said unironically. A photograph was considered legal evidence in and of itself.

Those days are long gone. Today, "PhotoShoping" is a widely used verb - it means to digitally distort a photograph to create a false image. A lot of celebrities have been victims of such hoaxes - their heads being placed on the bodies of different people.

Such activities are mean, childish.... and TON'S O' FUN.

The lesson will be to take the face of Ted Rami (who played Joxer The Might on Xena, Warrior Princess,) and place it on four different photos.....

1. In a 20s speakeasy;
2. As a 50's jazz saxophone player;
3. As one of the cast members of "Friends";
4. As one of the Twilight Vampires.

Each photograph will have a very different feel, and grain texture. The first two will be in black and white, the second two in color.

We will also be showing various Illustrator tips and tricks.

Agenda Upload

Image

Link

Video

File

Meeting Minutes

Meeting Minutes Upload

Keywords

Illustrator
