About Me:
I have been a freelancer for over twenty years. Almost every one of my clients are advertising agencies with new home builder accounts. My career began drawing floor plans with rapidograph pens and templates by tracing them onto mylar taped on top of quarter inch scale blueprints.
In 1999 I bought my first Macintosh, Illustrator 8 and Photoshop 5.5. I was now able to create these drawings electronically... and add color! Some of these drawings were taken into Photoshop for enhancement. I had to learn AutoCAD on the fly as this type of file became my blueprint.
Currently I have a Dell and a G5 tethered to a KVM switch. I use CS3, the whole suite. I process the photos I take with Adobe Lightroom2, which brings me to my next hobby, photography.
I'm studying photography with the idea of eventually offering those services on a professional level. My camera is a Nikon D300. My interests lie in landscape and anything involving nature, be it plant or animal. This area of my website will be in a constant flux as I add, take away and expand. And through the use of photography, reading books and attending seminars I expect my experience with LR2 to grow.
You'll see I've listed Flash as one of the products I use. I dabbled in it a lot five or so years ago and have forgotten most of what I used to know. I'm trying to re-up my knowledge there but with so much to keep up with it is hard to do and it falls on the back burner again and again.
My Products:
Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop
