I'm the creative director at a small software startup in Everett, but I live near the Pierce County/King County border. I've been a graphic designer for about 25 years and have used Adobe products since they were Aldus and Macromedia products. I was even in the first Aldus magazine.
I started on the original Mac using MacDraw and MacWrite in 1985. In the 1990s my employer forced me to switch to a PC because the IT department could not support Macs. My love affair with Photoshop started with version 3 in about 1995. I have used Photoshop, Illustrator, and FreeHand (before Macromedia became Adobe) for hours every day for many years.
A little further down in the profile it asks how much I know. I should clarify. When it comes to Dreamweaver, I'm just learning and struggling to get up to speed with CSS. As for Fireworks, I can find my way around. With Flash, I can create a lot of simple stuff as long as you don't make me code. Now, with Illustrator and Photoshop, there I can do some magic. At my last employer I was the go to guy in the graphics group for all things Photoshop. That being said, I haven't really fully explored Photoshop CS4. I just bought it a couple months ago. So far, other than getting used to Adobe moving things around, I still love Photoshop.
