I've been writing books about Dreamweaver, PHP, and other web technologies since 2005. My titles include "The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS4 with CSS, Ajax, and PHP", "PHP Solutions", and "PHP Object-Oriented Solutions" (all published by friends of ED). So far, I have written six books, and co-authored another four. I also teach Dreamweaver and web development at Highlander, an Adobe training partner in the UK.
Before embarking on my career as a web developer and author, I was a BBC radio and TV journalist, and spent a large part of of my broadcasting career in Japan. During 1987-92, I was a BBC correspondent in Tokyo, reporting on the rise and fall of the Japanese bubble economy. I have also translated several musical plays from Japanese into English.
