Born, raised and currently residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

After graduating high school and working a handful of mindless jobs, I decided to move to Vancouver and take the Visual Effects & Digital Animation Masters program at the Center for Digital Imaging and Sound (CDIS), now renamed the Art Institute of Vancouver - Burnaby.

The year I graduated, the Computer Graphics industry in Vancouver was flooded with experienced CG artists looking for work due to layoffs caused by 9/11. Realizing that the chances of landing a job as an unexperienced CG artist in Vancouver was dwindling, I decided it was time to head back to Calgary.

While building a web site to display my CG portfolio I fell in love with Flash. I began freelancing for a couple years before getting a job at Critical Mass as a Flash Developer. After working at Critical Mass for around two and a half years, I decided it was time for a change of scenery and accepted a job as a Sr. Flash Developer with Rare Method. I have recently moved to RenoWorks Software and have been developing renovation visualization software using Flex & Java.

As of January 2007 I have also taken on the role as the Manager of the Calgary Flash User Group.

For the past few years I have worked on many accounts including:

    • Disney
    • Dell
    • Mercedes Benz
    • Hyatt
    • Rolex
    • Pampers
    • Albertsons
