<p>Tom Muck is the coauthor of nine books, including Flash Remoting: The Definitive Guide (O'Reilly, 2003). Tom also writes extensions for Dreamweaver, available at http://www.tom-muck.com/extensions. As Senior Software Engineer for NC4 in Northern Virginia, Tom develops back-end ColdFusion applications for secure communication and collaboration. Tom is also a founding member of Community MX. Tom is an extensibility expert focused on the integration of Adobe products with ColdFusion, ASP, PHP, and other languages, applications, and technologies. Tom has been recognized for this expertise as the 2000 recipient of Macromedia's Best UltraDev Extension Award. He also writes numerous articles for magazines, journals, and websites and speaks at conferences on this and related subjects.</p>
