Fred,
I think we were looking at each lunch as a full session of 60 minutes. This allows for attendees to devote the whole hour to a particular BOF. Having 3 separate days of lunches with all conference space available removes several barriers. So instead of 2 hour BOF windows that complete with MTT sessions, we have 2 hours of MTT on Day 1 and 3 hours of BOF at lunch during each day of MAX.

Anatole,
We are building a virtual event as part of MAX 2009. With the MAX videos we reached 150K Unique users in 2 months following MAX and combined with a social network and unique content the opportunity would be far larger. Ideally we would leverage Adobe Groups with CoCoMo enabled video players/real time elements. Since I am involved at Adobe regarding the project, let me touch base to see how we can get you involved.
Regards,
Ted :)
woot!
I cannot wait to see everyone at the FlexCamp in Milano!

Dan, curiosity killed the cat!
We are making sure the api is SSO compliant with Adobe U/P login. It is in sanity check mode but this is a lower priority right now. We will launch the API sortly after MAX EU, when my brain stops hurting about Dec 15+.
Ted :)
We are working on shorter custom urls for groups. I believe it will be added in one of the builds post MAX.
Ted :)
We are working on getting edit rights out to folks asap. The problem is that we jumped from 220 groups to over 300+ wanting group sites. Things are just taking longer than expected.
We are peddling fast!
Ted :)
Jeff, The display name changes occur when you login again. The data from Adobe.com Login is pulled over once per session. We are keeping a close eye on this issue.
Ted :)
There are a ton of people involved, I have a small but visible role. I cannot say enough about the great job that the entire team has done on this project. Special kudos to Rachel Luxemburg, she is working magic here.
