<p>Way back in 96 when I started college, I was taking a C++ class.&nbsp; Our lessons were all command line.&nbsp; It was so dull.&nbsp; We had no graphics, no moving parts, just text output.</p>
<p>Then I started with Director - it was awesome.&nbsp; I took 30 seconds to publish something with a moving graphic.</p>
<p>Since then I've been interested in multimedia, cause the results are instant and easy.&nbsp; And I've been doing more and more - expanding out to do ui, server side, graphics programming, design, game writing.</p>
<p>Just staying competent in all areas of multimedia is a job and a half - and part of what motivates me.&nbsp; I don't want to let any area atrophy - because I'll get bored doing the same type of thing to long, so I like to keep my brain sharp in all areas.</p>
<p>I also love to experiment and push the envelope - I don't necessarily invent things, but I like combining cutting edge technology to produce content that nobody thought of.</p>
<p>Although I'm at the point now where I'd like to slow down and not learn so much - but actually produce stuff with what I've learned - since the only way you've ever seen a finished product out of me is if you've paid me to do it.</p>
