<p>I have over 20 years experience of software development in the financial, media, telecoms and public sectors, working mostly as a consultant on a freelance basis.</p>
<p>For the last 3 years I have been developing rich internet applications with Adobe Flex, Flash, AIR, BlazeDS and the backend stuff that tends to go with it, mostly Java Web Services and MYSQL. My first exposure to Flex was when I worked for Adobe Consulting as a Technical Architect on Flex 1.5 projects (the Flex development experience has improved a lot IMO). I think I finally understand how binding should be used!</p>
<p>What is possible with Flex interests me from the design side (user experiences, skinning, etc) to the how you develop the application (frameworks, integration, etc). I don't pretend to understand it all yet but I am fairly sure that Flex is a great choice for developing rich internet applications.</p>
<p>Oh and I am an Adobe Certified Professional Flex Developer and a Sun Certified Java Programmer (although that was years ago) with over 10 years experience of developing enterprise&nbsp; applications with Java.</p>
