I haven't read the book but I found that most of the best information came from their online tutorials.  I have not going through any of the version 5 tutorials yet but version 3 and 4 had some pretty good info.  Plus the application is not very difficult to use with exception to maybe the Advanced Modeler.   Even that is not too hard to use but on occasion it can 'sometimes' work against you.
