Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to our September Presentation Night. We've got a great lineup for you this month, again going back to our tried and true model of catering to both designers and developers. Our host this month is Blue Diesel, so please give Joel a thank you when you arrive- they've got some great facilities there.
Jennifer Deafenbaugh is a Multimedia designer and Artist with Blue Diesel, and has presented to us before as an introduction to AfterEffects. She returns this month to give us a view of how AfterEffects is used in a Production environment, by highlighting a project she is currently working on in her own time and going through all the components of production: Shooting the video, 3D graphics, composition and rendering.
Dan Shultz is a consultant with Quick Solutions, and has recently been working on an Actionscript application to be deployed on Facebook. As any of us who've tried this know, the Facebook platform is an incredibly difficult and poorly documented environment to develop for, and Dan has spent countless hours experimenting and investigating the intricacies of this often frustrating environment. He will bring to us his experiences on the pitfalls and problems one might encounter when attempting this grand feat of engineering.
Dan Shultz just contacted me and wanted me to clarify his presentation title, since his content is platform agnostic. In other words this presentation will cover how to integrate your application into Facebook, no matter what Flash development environment you prefer.
As interactive marketing experts for pharmaceutical and health & wellness companies across the globe, Blue Diesel delivers evidence-based marketing solutions through a distinctive blend of insightful strategy, creative design, and innovative technology.
