      New CFUG for the Montréal area

      Hi and Bonjour!

      I was happy to find this morning that my application for a new Montréal CFUG was approved! I just wanted to post this out there in case anyone interested wanted to join. I'll try and get some work done on this site as well as figure out where / when members could join for official CFUG meets.

      Obviously, any and all suggestions are welcome!

    • Hi LordAlex. Welcome to CF! I'm sure you'll see that it's both easy to learn (yet, like most things, difficult to master) and very powerful. I haven't had the time to do much with this CFUG yet, but I'm hoping to be able to devote more time to it in the near future. Thanks for the offer of help and I'll be sure to take advantage of any help you could offer ;).

      I wanted to start a Montreal CFUG last year, but I was too busy. I own the domain cfugmontreal.org in case you don't have a domain. I can host a group site on our server for free if you are interested.

    • Hi Patrick, and welcome. Thanks for the offer for hosting, that'd be great. Now that there's Adobe Groups, do you see any added bonus in having an external site? Maybe we could simply redirect to the main groups page?
