1. Showcase: "Talkmaster" - Marcel Vogt (Publicis AG)

"Talkmaster" ist ein Publicis internes Projekt, das die Markenwahrnehmung auf Grund repräsentativer Umfragen visualisiert. Technische Komponenten sind Adobe Flash, Ruby und PHP.

2. Showcase: "Typefinder"ist ein Tool, geschrieben in Actionscript welches im Frühjahr von Studenten (Christian Flepp, Mario von Rickenbach, Philipp Läubli) der ZHDK entwickelt wurde. Das Werkzeug erlaubt einem Gestalter die Auswahl und den Vergleich von Schriften nach formalen Kriterien. Thema des Vortrags wird sein: Aufbau der Software, Deployment (automatische Fontkompilierung mittels Pyhtonscripts), Funktionen von Typefinder, sowie die weiteren Entwicklungena)

Recently there has been a huge discussion on the Internets and in the Flash community whether AS3 as a language failed to improve developing Flash Applications or just made it more complicated.
