Since some local talent has been unable to make it to our evening meetings, we'd like to try and get together every second Friday of the month, for lunch!
So on Friday, February 12, we are getting together at Boston Beer Works (http://www.yelp.com/biz/boston-beer-works-boston-2) for a BFPUG lunch. Hopefully, this kicks off a new tradition and enables some fun networking and socializing. The format will be open, so plan to kick back and enjoy the company of folks who have otherwise struggled to hang back in the city after the workday ends.
The lunch will be in addition to our regular evening meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month. So now you will have two ways to connect with BFPUG - at lunch and at the regular meetings.

great idea! can't make it to this one. will the location rotate around the city? not sure about others but for me a more central location would be preferable. maybe a member poll is in order?

Glad you like the idea. Yes we plan to rotate the location and to ask for suggestions. We went for fun, affordable, and easily accessible by either car or T for the first lunch.
