The Encore Adobe Technology meeting marks our half year anniversary (this user group started circa winter 2008). The meeting will focus on DVD and web authoring with Adobe Encore. Presenter Mike Wach will demonstrate creating a simple DVD menu from Photoshop to burnt DVD. This presentation is designed so anyone can attend and follow along with their own copy of Adobe Encore. Mike Wach will be demonstrating with Encore CS4, however most actions can be performed with previous versions. Additionally, the summer design contest winners will be announced. Join us with your ADAA entries ready to go and some blank DVD-R's if you're interested in building a simple DVD menu or website!

The goal of this contest is to encourage you to be creative with Adobe applications and build an impressive professional portfolio. The results of this contest can further be submitted to the official Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2009 contest before June 5th, 2009 at 5:00pm.
This contest follows the same guidelines as the Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2009*
* except this competition is open to everyone (instead of only students), and our contest deadline is the time of this user group meeting.
Each submission earns you one raffle ticket, which may win you up to $2,100 in software of your choice from Adobe or free Adobe books thanks to our sponsors.
All you have to do is submit something electronically or bring a copy of your entry to this user group meeting. You must be physically present at the Encore user group meeting (June 4th, 2009 @7:00pm) in order to win prizes.
You MUST provide a digital copy of your entry to user group manager Mike Wach in order to recieve a raffle ticket. This may require taking JPEG screenshots depending on your submission medium. If you don't email a screenshot to the address above before the meeting, you can physically bring a copy with you. However, it would be a tremendous help if everyone emailed their entries instead. Also, please bring the source files to the meeting or be prepared to say a few words about what went into the creation.
