Hi
I hope somebody can shine some light on this for me - i have drawn a basketball in illustrator for a client, he wanted it realistic looking so i did each dimple individually, smaller in the distance, larger ones closer to the users eye level. Looks great. Thing is the file is huge! there's a lot of detail, does anybody know of anyway i can still achieve this look without killing my illustrator ? the dimples have got to be sharp and recognizable - and its got to stay vector, no raster - anything of anybody would be much appreciated
Cheers
Chris

You've probably got an answer by now, but I think you can turn your dimple into a symbol then use your symbol sprayer to cover and resize them as needed over your image.
