      I got the (stupid?) idea that PureMVC was a software package but when searching for PureMVC, and clicking on PureMVC for Flex, it seems to imply that the Flex install without eclipse is the way to use PureMVC - right? Simple help for the simple guy?

    • Did you ever get an answer to your question? PureMVC is (framework/micro-architecture) like Cairingorm or Mate.  Essentially a library that provides the back-end glue and patterns to follow when developing your application.

      You can use it with or without eclipse (which is just an IDE).
