Why my transition broke?

okay, so i have this little app, and i have a transition on it. When i select a dataset that has a large amount of data, it 'flickers' when it plays the transition. I have tired to use a 'timer' to hold the DG, invalidateDisplayList, etc etc, but it still flickers...

attaching the code...well i tried to but it wont let me upload any type of file :(

if anyone wants to see this, i can use acrobat.com to set up a 'breeze' room.
