As we plan for future meeting topics, I am curious if you have upgraded to CS4 yet. Why or why not? Have you upgraded the Suite or just specific applications (which ones)?
I upgraded from CS3.3 Design Premium to CS4 Design Premium. I did it because I think that it's important to stay ahead of the curve. I also wanted to invest in the Classroom in a book series for the applications in my suite. I intend to become an ACE (adobe certified expert) in a few if not all of the apps in the Design Premium suite in the next few months. Speaking of which. I'd better go hit the books!
I just ordered my upgrade this past Friday. I upgraded mainly because InDesign CS4 introduced an upgrade in their grep engine that I need for work.
Not too thrilled about what they did to Photoshop CS4 in terms of color correctors and how the tools work.
For those that have CS3.3 DP and want to upgrade to CS4 DP, it's $440 USD but you have to call in for it, you cannot order it online. Those that have Macromedia's Studio 8, you have a few more days (if not already expired) to upgrade to CS4.
