Computer oriented designers can get a free lesson in Adobe Flash from expert Leslie Ahrendts-Edwards at Somerset County Technical Institute. Leslie is an academic and corporate educator and will be giving a one-evening introductory course featuring CS3 and Action Script 3. During the class references will be made to the changes that Adobe has implemented since the release of Action Script 2.
This free event is being hosted by the Jersey Adobe Multimedia Users Group and will be held on Wednesday, August 5 beginning at 7:00 pm with attendee networking and light refreshments. The hands-on Flash class will run from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Somerset County Technical Institute in room B210 and enrollment is limited. A raffle will be held at the conclusion of class for an Adobe software prize.
To be eligible for the raffle drawing of Adobe software you must send a pre-registration email to info@jamug.com with the subject heading "Flash Jam" by August 3, 2009. The registrant must be present at the drawing in order to win.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this free hands-on Flash class and get a taste of what it is like to work with this popular Adobe software. Anyone interested in learning Flash and Action Script can enroll in Leslie's Intro to Flash fall semester class by August 15, 2009. First class begins on September 14.
