      Title:
Ramping up for 2009 - Existing site and groups.adobe.com site
      Content:

      Hello members!

We are ramping up our efforts for 2009, including introduction of our new co-manager (to be announced shortly) and a series of meetings and events for the first half of the year.

We are also still in the midst of integrating our existing site and this new are on Adobe - so bear with us until the dust settles a bit. :) We are looking at integrating the job boards, membership, etc. so that as either site is updated, it is reflected on both systems. Still a bit to work out there that falls on Adobe's shoulders - so hang in there!

I also wanted to point out that we have a traditional email based mailing list available for folks who prefer to just receive email (or digest format) that is available here:
      http://lists.pfpaug.org/mailman/listinfo/pfpaug

Currently, it requires you to manually sign up, even after becoming a member here, or a member directly through the form here:
      http://www.pfpaug.org/core/join.php

I am about to automatically add our entire database of members to the mailing list to jump-start some communications - but I imagine some members may want to opt out - so there will be a posting here and on the main site with information available to allow members to quickly opt out of the mail-list - however, it isn't suggested as we will try to leverage the mail-list as much as possible going forward.

As always any questions, please let us know!

      Regards,
      Rob
