More stuff on creating AIR apps please... I really liked the presentation we had in Spring '08. Maybe also something on liveCycle. Definitely gotta plan some stuff on the new CF9 stuff and Bolt when they're released.
Thanks Rick. I can do a 'my first AIR app' demo, with my clients' permission, which shows some AIR specific features. LCDS is really interesting to me too.
After I gave my presentation last week, it occurred to me, that as many tutorials as there are on various subject, just having someone present some basic stuff is probably a good idea. In my presentation someone asked how they would connect AIR to a database...well... a simple demo showing how to connect Flex via webservice/httpservice/remoteobject to straight java to db (and then maybe to php to db and then CFC to db) and then showing all over again in AIR would be a worthwhile demo for a lot of people, don't you think?
Yes! I think connectivity via XML, webservice/httpservice, RemoteObject would be a good exercise. And also do something in sqllite for AIR, and to top it off, some Blaze or LCDS.. This guy only knows how to CF, so any java or php will have to come from someone else.. The rest I could do however... Anyone else want to help w/ this?

I certainly agree with how to create AIR apps. Would love to do a hands on for a simple data driven one.
btw, I'm new. Just joined today, and co-founder of the internal Boeing FUG. am glad to join one that is local....
