      Guest speakers for Fall 09 monthly meetings?

      As co-manager of NBAUG, one of my jobs is to get speakers for our monthly meetings. Our resources include the occasional Adobe evangelist, SRJC instructor, and our own community.

      Our September 28th agenda is set, but we need speakers for October, November, and December. So far, I've got two color management experts who will do a presentation. Any ideas and contacts for our other meetings? Would you consider doing a "tips and tricks" 15 minute presentation for us in your favorite Adobe program? What would you like to learn about?

    • For those of us in the print world, how about Dan from AJ Printing?  He is always engaging and generates alot of questions.

      • Agreed, and I've already asked him! Dan prefers to speak to smaller audiences, so he'll be doing a guest appearance in my InDesign 3 class this Fall.

      I will be missing the meetings again this fall. Have an eveing class on Mondays. What are the chance of recording the presentation so those of us that can't attend may  watch ? I miss not visiting with the gang.

      • That's a good idea. Carolyn and I will work on that -- I have to teach Carolyn how to use Connect for the first meeting, as she uses a different webcast program called Elluminate.

    • Josh Margulis of Adobe has offered to speak on December 14.  I can't wait to find out the topics Cyndi and Josh select for us!

      • Anet -- what a feather in our cap this will be! How can I contact Josh to set up the details?
