Our company is shaking up the depressed real estate market in a novel way. The company has developed the industry's first dynamic, real-time, web-based analytics solution. The technology has been dubbed a killer app by industry leaders and the application is being adopted rapidly. The opportunity is huge, as real estate analysis is becoming crucial in this upside-down market.

We are looking for a quantitative minded enterprise web architect to help take a successful startup with a ton of momentum to the next level. The right candidate should be well-rounded, possessing strong technical abilities, graphic skills, and a passion for innovation. The candidate will work on a small team with broad responsibilities.

An immediate project includes porting our existing hosted application to a third-party environment.  Please indicate in your response whether this project is within your skill set.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a highly scalable web application
• Creating and implementing web site designs in clean, well-structured HTML and CSS
• Developing dynamic browser behaviors using Flash and JavaScript
• Extending database support for use by the web application and partner data integration
• Web server system administration

Qualifications include:

• Expertise in Adobe ColdFusion 8, Flash 3, Flex, ActionScript 2.0/3.0
• 3+ years of direct experience in web application development
• 2+ years of Java development experience
• 2+ years of database development experience
• Experience with enterprise web installs
• Working knowledge of SQL server architecture
• High familiarity with structured HTML / JavaScript / CSS (web design standards)
• Effective communication skills both technically and business-wise
• Understanding of how to test and monitor web services at machine and application levels

In addition:

• Knowledge of real estate investment is a plus
• You must be able to handle the demands of a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• You must have excellent organizational skills
• You must possess a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
