      Hi there, anyone have any plans to schedule a meet sometime soon? If we're short a speaker I'd be happy to present on some of the new Flex 4 features; I've been working on the O'Reilly Flex 4 Cookbook for the last few months and so have really had my head down in them. Since I'm new to the area it'd be nice to meet some other people who are doing RIA work. Thanks!

    • Hey Josh,

      I didnt realize you had moved out this way.  Rock On! Welcome to portland.  We will have to hook up for coffee sometime and shoot the ... I almost was/may be the tech editor for the cookbook so we can chat.

      Anyhow we have a subgroup that has been studying the flex 4 stuff together but a preso is always fun :) I like to get new folks in the group active!

      Maybe next month, as I am just about to finally post our topic for this month which we discussed at last months meeting.

      Anyway, hopefully we can hook up soon.

    • Sounds good to me. Let me know when you're looking to get an October presentation sorted out. Also, drop me a line about the Flex 4 Cookbook if you're interested, we're still looking to get that sorted out and since we're in the same city it'd be fun to chat over a coffee.

    • As a student of ActionScript, I want to come to that meeting! Presentations are great.

      When scheduling, please avoid Thursday, Oct 8, which is the next meeting of the Photoshop and Illustrator group, where I'm presenting. ;-)
