If you’re brand new about CF frameworks, this is a good start point:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/frameworks_intro.html
On the other hand, from my stand point, I’d say we should use frameworks as much as we can. (At the end of the day, we’ll be saving a lot of money)
java, .net and other communities already know that (by using frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Rails, iBatis, Struts, JSF, Toplink, etc, etc.)
So, according to what I’ve been reading so far, here are my current preferences for CF:
MVC: Model-Glue (http://www.model-glue.com/)
IoC: ColdSpring (http://www.coldspringframework.org/)
Persistence: Transfer (http://transfer.riaforge.org/)
However, such preferences may change since I’m still doing some research there.
Regards!
Forgot to mention ColdBox is within my preferences as well: http://www.coldboxframework.com/
