The primary responsibility of the Web Developer is to support three current key web-facing products from a design and development perspective:
 
•    Video News Manager
•    Channel Player
•    Multimedia News Release

Responsibilities include design and implementation of customers’ branding and layout requirements as well as approved custom functionality for the above mentioned products. In addition, the Web Developer will also be tasked with creating and improving general functionality to the overall products. Other web-based products may be added to this list in the future as the business requires.

The web developer will have the option to work from home provided management is satisfied with the quality of the work delivered and the availability.
As part of the implementation, the web developer may be required to attend meetings with clients either in-person and/or via teleconference calls.
In addition, there will be some requirements from the Marketing department including the following:

•    designing Flash banners and buttons for web marketing
•    designing Sales presentations (mixture of Flash and ppt) and reports
•    html coding and general web design

• Excellent and innovative web design skills, particularly in terms of Graphical User Interface and presenting visual information (as opposed to textual)
• Strong knowledge of web-based video delivery, especially Flash Video
• .html – expert
• .css - intermediate
• .NET experience preferred
• Ability to work to a deadline
• Ability to accurately estimate time required to deliver projects based on a fixed set of design criteria
