Welcome to a new month and some new sugar induced headaches. I hope that Halloween and October ended with a blast as we are quickly marching towards Turkey Day!

This month is another exciting month in the life of D-Flex!

Presenting at D-Flex this month we have Dave Shuck talking about Test Driven Development in FlashBuilder 4!

This will be a hands-on presentation showing an introduction to Test Driven Development in FlashBuilder.  The presentation will be a variation on a lab that Dave attended at MAX 2009 and one that Dave thinks is valuable to share with the Flex community as a whole.  While there is no way to sufficiently cover TDD in the time we will have, Dave hopes to provide an introduction to the topic that you will be able to expand upon on your own time. 

Dave will be providing a sample application to start with, so those with FB4 on their machines can walk through the exercise with me.  Any materials you need will be available at the meeting.

Dave Shuck is a ColdFusion, Java, and Flex developer who has been working in web application development since 1999.  He has served as manager of the Dallas/Ft. Worth ColdFusion User Group since 2006 and works as a Sr. Developer for Unitrin Specialty Inc.

We also have Dan Blackman coming in to give the hands-on training  this month on AIR. Dan is a highly requested speaker and trainer in the Flex community and will go over AIR and how to develop for the desktop.
