Rob Huddleston
Adobe has released a public beta of the newest member of the Flash Platform: Flash Catalyst. Rob is going to demonstrate the key features of this exciting new release. You'll learn how you can use Flash Catalyst to take a layout created in Photoshop and assets created in Illustrator and create a rish internet application from them. We will also look at the recently-rebranded Flash Builder 4 and explore how it can be used in the final steps of the process.
In addition, this meeting is your chance to get a sneak peek at BrowserLab, Adobe's new tool for testing sites in multiple browsers.
We will also be giving away a copy of CS4 Web Premium, Design Premium, or Production Premium. Please keep in mind that even if you have been attending meetings and thus earning tickets all year, you must be present to win to be sure to mark your calendars now!
Also note that due to family obligations, we will be meeting on the second Wednesday - June 10 - this month, instead of the first Wednesday as usual.
Bring your laptop! Roundtable has free open wireless, so feel free to bring your laptop to the meeting. If you would like to follow along during the meeting, you are urged to download the betas of Flash Catalyst and Flash Builder 4 from labs.adobe.com before the meeting.
Barring technical difficulties, the meeting will be broadcast online and recorded. On the night of the meeting, you can log into the meeting room to participate.
