Let's hear it - whaddya think of the new site?
      Content:

      KC DesignCore members,

We've been working with Adobe for quite awhile to get a useful resource in place for ANY Adobe customer to come in and find our group in the Kansas City area. This could be a new purchaser of Adobe software, or someone who's used their stuff for years and just didn't know there was a User Group in the area.

So now that it's finally here, we need to hear from you! Let's make this as lively a place as we can. Send your reviews of products you've won, start discussions, throw a party -- whatever you'd like to do.

We will continue to succeed as a group, and grow our ranks, as you jump in and participate in this new community-oriented site.

Looking forward to hearing from you...

    • cool.

    • While I was looking forward to Lena's design (check it out at http://www.lenacardell.com/ and click the "User Experience" drawer), I have to say that this looks like a well-designed alternative. Having the Blog and Invite functions should be handy, and I hope we'll see a lot more member involvement through this. (I'll have my review up, soon...I promise.) ;)

    • While Lena's design won the contest, I never really thought we'd impliment it. I just thought the idea needed to be flushed out a lot more to really be ours, but looking back, it would be better than what we have now for sure. I wanted a central site for all 4 groups, and well... I got it. Not anything like what I had in mind, but maybe we can remedy that some day.

We need a presence here for a cohesive front for all the Adobe groups, but maybe we don't need to spend ALL out time here. I'd still like a place for just the 4 groups.
