TransLoc, providers of real-time passenger information systems to
clients like NCSU, Harvard, Yale, and Microsoft, is looking for an
experienced web developer to expand and improve our Transit
Visualization System (TVS) web application using the latest CSS and
JavaScript designs and the latest web technologies.  Work will involve
designing and implementing new features for the TVS, particularly its
rider facing site and the customer administration site.  The developer
will be part of a core team that focuses on the Web aspects of the
TVS, including the design, implementation, and testing of new
features.  The developer will hold the central position in the team.

Required Skills/Knowledge:
Expert in server-side programming languages (PHP a plus)
Proficient in cross-browser XHTML, CSS and JavaScript/AJAX
Proficient in databases such as MySQL
Familiarity and adherence to Web Standards

Preferred Skills:
Familiar with Flex and object oriented ActionScript 3
Familiar with Linux

Responsibilities:
Improve existing TVS web pages and design and create new user-friendly
web pages using JavaScript, CSS and XHTML
Expand existing TVS web application and build new ones, including
server-side coding and database deployment
Design and implement new solutions to meet internal needs
