      Does anyone know if it's possible to curve a gradient to follow an irregular object?  i.e. like a cylinder gradient that will follow a rod image that is bent into a "U".  Im I making this clear????

    • I definitely think you are  making this clear. In flash you can do some really interesting spline bends that might get what you need. But in Flex, I think you will need to just make it an image. I haven't tried to do this though, so someone else may have a good fix also.

    • Thanks, I'm working with Illustrator CS.  Is Flash and Flex a part of Illustrator?
