      Flash Builder 4 (Flex 4) & Flash Catalyst release to public beta.

      Get it from labs.adobe.com.

      Hopefully it delivers as hoped for.  Will test importing FB3 projects and see how well it does.

      Anyone playing with it, share their experiences in this discussion.

    • Microsoft has just released Silverlight 3 (7/10)...earlier than expected.  Could Flash Builder 4 and Catalyst be the reason?  Hmmmm.....  

      Catalyst, while not timeline based, is easy to create simple animations.  Builder has a much improved code editor.  Still haven't got the Zend_AMF for PHP to work automatically in Builder without manual adjusting, but this is still beta.

      It's a 2 IDE world for developers now ( Builder/Catalyst & Visual Studio/Blend ) ...catching up with what you designers been doing for a while now.
