April Program:
Our member Roy Douglas will begin our meeting by sharing how he burns labels onto cds. Not onto label stock, but the cd itself. This is one of the only ways that doesn’t degrade the cd- which the glue/adhesive does on label stock. He will share how he laysout the labels and then burns them.
The next part of the meeting will be a rep from Wacom Tablet. She will be showing us the ins and outs of using a tablet while working in an illustration type application. Creating drawings using vector and raster artwork. We know you’ll want to excape the house and tax issues, so come and try your hand at creating a vector image. See how the new CS4 can draw like in raster applications. This has revolutionized vector creation. Learn when to use vector vs raster. If you don’t have a Wacom tablet there will be a few to try.
If you have one and want to get the most from it, plan to come early for some one on one time... and bring your tablet (we can hook it up to a computer somewhere to help you if you don’t have a portable computer. If you have questions be sure to contact us.
