      UI Developer

       


      As a front-end/UIT developer you will be responsible for implementing flexible and templated UI's for a collection of large international travel websites. You will play an active development role in cross functional teams that are comprised of: Information Architects, Visual Design, and Back-End development teams. As a member of the User Interface Technology group you will need key skills in the areas of browser compliance and standards based frontend development, as well as experience in templating technologies.


       

      EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent.

       


      EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Prefer experience in production management, web page design, HTML, and web graphics types and standards.

      • CSS (3+ Years)

      • Strong Standards Based HTML Development (4+ Years)

      • Current experience with a templating framework (1+ Year)

      • Strong Javascript (3+ Years)

      • XML (2+ years)

      • Current Experience with Content Management Systems (1+ Year)

      • Experience with such IDEs as IntelliJ, Eclipse and or Dreamweaver

      • Source version control (Subversion/CVS)

      • Good written and verbal skills

      Desired Skills:
      • Alfresco or Vignette CMS

      • Templating Language (Groovy/Grails, Freemarker, or similar)

      • JQueryFramework

      • Experience with Agile development process
