Kevin Towes is the Product Manager at Adobe Systems Incorporated, responsible for Flash Media Server. Prior to Adobe, Kevin spent 13 years working as a prime consultant enabling customers with Flash-based communication, collaboration, social media and video streaming solutions using Flash Media Server. His FMS Live Video work with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) led to an Emmy nomination in 2004.

Mike Welsh is an ActionScript developer currently working for Newgrounds.com, the web's original Flash portal. Mike contributed to Castle Crashers, the best-selling XBox Live Arcade game. Always exploring new technologies, he most recently ported Doom to Flash using Adobe Alchemy. Andy Beach is the Director of Product Management at Inlet Technologies, where he drives strategic product direction and oversees all aspects of product marketing, management, and support. He is also the author of Real World Video Compression, published by Peachpit in April of 2008. Prior to joining Inlet, Beach served as the Director of Product Development at Magnet Media where he oversaw the creation of Zoom In Online, a website offering exclusive access to the latest in creative culture, entertainment, and technology through regularly published podcasts, internet video and blogs. He also co-founded New York-based interactive agency Last Exit, where he led several award-winning interactive projects for their clients in the entertainment and technology industries.
Beach brings significant expertise and experience in the field of Internet video, digital asset management and rich media solutions. His expertise in video post-production, compression, and interactive design has attracted clients worldwide, including: Microsoft, Major League Baseball, Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, British Design Council, V2 Records, Universal Music, Paramount Pictures, Showtime Networks, and Samsung.
Andy has spoken at industry conferences including Web Video Summit, NAB, WWDC, QuickTime Live!, and Production East, and has been featured in POST Magazine and TV Technology. He also taught digital film making and editing at the School of Visual Arts.

Lisa Larson-Kelley began her career in print design, but was soon lured to digital media by a little application called Flash 4. In addition to hands-on development projects, she enjoys writing and teaching, with a knack for breaking down complex concepts and making them accessible. She has authored whitepapers, tutorials and e-seminars for Adobe, editorials and features for StreamingMedia.com; and co-authored the book Flash Video for Professionals, published by Wiley in 2007. Lisa has also presented at numerous industry conferences and user groups around the world, and is an active member and co-manager of the FlashCodersNY study group.Lisa is currently consulting, teaching, and developing iFoxCam, a consumer video monitoring product using Flash Media Server. She has worked with many video-centric start-ups as well as companies like Adobe, Microsoft and L’Oreal. She shares news and musings about Flash video, web development and life in the big city on her blog, www.flashconnections.com.
