Jeffry Houser is the Brains behind Flextras, a set of interface Flex Components that save you time and help you create better Flex interfaces. Jeffry has a Computer Science degree from the days before business met the Internet and has solved a problem or two in his programming career. In 1999, Jeffry started DotComIt, an Adobe Solutions Partner specializing in Rich Internet Applications with Flex and ColdFusion.
Jeffry is an Adobe Community Expert and produces The Flex Show, a podcast that includes expert interviews and screencast tutorials. He also hosts the Flextras Friday Lunch Podcast, a weekly live Q&A session where you can get your questions answered. Jeffry has spoken at user groups and conferences all over the US, is the co-manager of the Hartford CT Adobe User Group, author of three technical books, and over 30 articles.

Andy Beach is the Director of Product Management at Inlet Technologies, where he drives strategic product direction and oversees all aspects of product marketing, management, and support. He is also the author of Real World Video Compression, published by Peachpit in April of 2008. Prior to joining Inlet, Beach served as the Director of Product Development at Magnet Media where he oversaw the creation of Zoom In Online, a website offering exclusive access to the latest in creative culture, entertainment, and technology through regularly published podcasts, internet video and blogs. He also co-founded New York-based interactive agency Last Exit, where he led several award-winning interactive projects for their clients in the entertainment and technology industries.
Beach brings significant expertise and experience in the field of Internet video, digital asset management and rich media solutions. His expertise in video post-production, compression, and interactive design has attracted clients worldwide, including: Microsoft, Major League Baseball, Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, British Design Council, V2 Records, Universal Music, Paramount Pictures, Showtime Networks, and Samsung.
Andy has spoken at industry conferences including Web Video Summit, NAB, WWDC, QuickTime Live!, and Production East, and has been featured in POST Magazine and TV Technology. He also taught digital film making and editing at the School of Visual Arts.
Mark Piller is the founder and Chief Architect of Midnight Coders, an innovative and forward-thinking company specializing in products for RIA development, testing, integration and analytics. Mark has over 15 years of software development experience. For the past six years he has been specializing in building software infrastructure products designed to integrate Flex, Flash, and AJAX applications with a variety of backend systems, including .NET, Java, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. Mark is very passionate about ease-of-use of software and prides himself in creating technologies that clearly demonstrate that quality.
