The Future of Flex at Apache

Currently, Flex is the best solution to deliver enterprise applications across multiple operating systems, browsers, and devices. This month we will be hosting Christophe Coenraets, Adobe evangelist, and Michael Labriola, PMC member of the Apache Flex Project and one of the founders of the Spoon Project. Christophe and Michael will be talking about the future of Flex, the Apache Flex Project, the Spoon Project, and the Flex community. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your voice heard as well as have questions answered.
This meeting is jointly sponsored by the Adobe Boston User Group, the Boston Flash Platform User Group, the Boston Flex User Group.
Presentation will start at 7pm. Food/Drink will be provided so come early to network & play ping pong! (6:00)
Christophe Coenraets:
Christophe Coenraets is a Technical Evangelist for Adobe where he focuses on Mobile and Rich Internet Applications for the Enterprise. He has been working on Flex since the early days of the product in 2003. In his previous role at Macromedia, Christophe worked on JRun, the company’s J2EE application server. Before joining Macromedia, Christophe was managing Java and Internet applications Evangelism at Sybase and Powersoft. Christophe has been a regular speaker at conferences worldwide for the last 15 years. He blogs at http://coenraets.org.
Michael Labriola:
Michael Labriola is Senior Consultant at Digital Primates, architect of the open source FlexUnit 4 and Spoon projects, and a PMC member for Apache Flex. He has been developing Internet applications since 1995 and working with Flex since its 1.0 beta. Labriola is the co-author of the Flex 2, 3, 4 and 4.5 "Training from the Source" books and "Breaking Out of the Browser with Adobe AIR."
As an international speaker and team mentor on Flex and AIR projects, he has consulted for many of the world's most recognized brands. His free time is spent escaping from technology through wine and food.

It's  2012, I hope to make this year an active one for the group.
 
Lets start at the beginning- what sort of topics are you interested in covering for this year?
I will list a few I am interested in-  please let me know what topics you interested in so I can start planning now.

Topics I am interested in:
 
1. Adobe Edge- are you interested in this? Adobe Muse?
 
2.Are you interested in demo'ing any Photoshop skills you have?
Perhaps a Photoshop "lightning tutorials"?
You show us something we might want to know how to do- in a short time?
The same "lightning tutorials" in Illustrator or Fireworks?

3.How to create email campaigns. How to create mobile compatible email campaigns?

Do you have a location/meeting space that we might meet at?
Do you have a topic you would be interested in presenting? Know of a good presenter ora good topic?
