    Hi Everyone,

I've posted the recording from October's meeting.  It's Luis Majano presenting on the ColdBox framework.

If you are unfamiliar with how ColdBox works, this is a good primer.

We'll be learning about the ColdBox Framework.  Just in time for myself.  I've got a request to setup a wiki, so it looks like CodexWiki is built on ColdBox is the best open source option out there for CF Developers.

BADDAUG, SILVFUG and San Flashcisco groups are meeting on Wednesday as well.  They are going out for drinks at the Cheiftain irish bar http://www.thechieftain.com/ after.  So, for those who make it out to BACFUG, if you want to grab a drink I'll be heading over to the Cheiftain after the meeting.

Don't forget to register for ColdFusion DevCamp on November 7th.  We are less than three weeks away.  http://www.cfdevcamp.org

Dan Wilson just blogged on the Model-Glue site about the idea of doing an intensive training over 2 days (weekend) on Model-Glue 3.

    From Dan's Blog....
"We've been knocking around the idea of a roving Model Glue training center. We've already done this in Claremont, CA to members of the Inland Empire ColdFusion User Group and folks got a lot out of it. That particular course was done over a single day, to prove out the material and to be useful to the IECFUG.

For the next phase, the vision would be to travel to an area and run a practical, intense training in OO and Model-Glue 3 over a weekend.

Please comment on this post and let me know if you would attend a ModelGlue 3 Workshop for a weekend.  If so, how much should we charge to cover Dan's travel costs/food for the event, etc.?

    Hey Everyone,

Everything is moving forward nicely with the ColdFusion DevCamp.

    Location is locked in.
Sponsors are coming on board (few more needed ,but we are more than 1/2 way there)
People are signing up. (i'm been promoting via Meetup.com, Linked-in, via local University CS depts)

Now I need your help.  This is a community event so I'm hope we can all pitch in and envangelize the event.

I'll be at MAX next week and I'm printing up postcards to promote the DevCamp. http://www.cfdevcamp.org/post.cfm/postcards-have-been-ordered-for-max

Can you help spread the word?  If you are at MAX, be sure to mention ColdFusion DevCamp to other attendees.

Are you registered for DevCamp yet?  If not, you can register here.  http://www.cfdevcamp.org/page.cfm/registration

If you can't make it, please encourage work mates or other developers and designers you know to attend (No CF experience required).

Don't know what I'm talking about?  Find out more info about ColdFusion DevCamp ...  http://www.cfdevcamp.org/page.cfm/about-cfdevcamp

    Thanks for your help
